Common problems of high-speed slitting machine

During the production process of high-speed slitters, they often encounter some common quality problems. Generally, they are longitudinal stripes, split layers, bottom wrinkles, edge curling, burst tendons, insufficient length, and excessive width.
        1. Split level
Refers to the phenomenon that part of the film is staggered on the end surface of the film roll. This problem is mainly caused by the film sliding or the width of the film changing during the winding process.
        2. Warping
This quality problem occurs at the edge of the film winding, which is caused by the edge of the thick film being curled and superposed.
        3. Vertical stripes
The main performance is that the surface of the film roll is formed with circular rib-like stripes. In the process of slitting and rewinding of high-speed slitter, a large amount of air entrapment and poor accumulated thickness tolerance are the main reasons for the longitudinal stripes. Once the more serious stripes appear, it is difficult to eliminate them.
        4. Bottom wrinkle
This problem only occurs in the length of the beginning of film winding, which is mainly manifested as wrinkling and deep streaks. The causes are caused by a variety of factors.
        5. Insufficient length and excessive width
This quality problem is caused by wrong winding count or insufficient length of slit film and incorrect positioning of equipment.
        6. Tyranny
This quality problem is due to the obvious protrusions formed on the surface of the film roll due to the accumulation of film thickness tolerances.

After reading the above, I believe everyone already knows the common problems of high-speed slitting machines.
